Civility

I am a man of few words. When I say something, I mean it. Open and free flowing conversations are great gifts and can be very uplifting and motivating. The exchange of ideas can open the doors to new possibilities and problem solving. Healthy communication though requires two things trust and respect and civility nurtures both. It is important to be respectful of other’s feelings and opinions. Insults and cheap shots get us nowhere. Communication is all about building bridges between people. We learned civility in kindergarten, so let’s practice it in our conversations today.
