Going Digital in the Pandemic

I have been using personal computers since the late 70s, so I have logged many hours behind the computer screen. The pandemic has really tested my tech skills in a variety of ways. Before the pandemic I rarely test. Now I text my friends on a daily basis. To shelter in place, I started using an online grocery delivery services, Receiving Regional Center services has had mixed results. I communicate with my SC and other members of my team mainly through email.. My ILS services were delivered via Zoom. I found this unsatisfactory and was one of the reasons why I terminated ILS. Fortunately I have a full range of Technology at home, so I can do almost everything I want to do technology wise. I very grateful for this. I am grateful too that I had the finances to purchase the Technology. Its expensive. I take great pride in my tech skills. I can’t imagine serving the pandemic without my technology. I don’t drive, so I have always pretty much homebound, so sheltering in place wasn’t that much of an adjustment for me. At work, I do most of my work with my computer and my iPad. I attend a lot of Zoom meetings, they help get me over my transportation limitations. I am excited that I have gotten back in to web authoring. I had done that professional for 20 years, and the web authoring world has changed dramatically in that time. I find it all very exciting. I do though hope the pandemic will end soon. I am growing impatient with all the restrictions. I have been so busy with my blog that I haven’t watching the news. The news can be so depressing! So web authoring helps me stay in a more positive mood. How has technology helped you during this pandemic.
