You, Your dreams, and your PCP

If I simplified the PCP meeting to a nutshell, it is telling your story, identify your dreams, and spelling out how you are going to pursue your dreams. It is that basic but professionals make it also complicated. Just ask yourself who are you? Tell about your childhood, your school, your family life, and briefly about your career history. Keep it all brief, be short and to the point. Remember to talk about your strengths and to stay positive. Likewise, talk about your dreams? What excites you in life? What would make you happy? Once you have identified your dream, ask yourself how am I going to reach my dream? What path will I take, and whom will I take it with. If you can do all this you can do your PCP.
