Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon in Zoom meetings with other self-advocates. The meetings were long and exhausting, but purposeful and productive. At the meetings, the members spoke candidly, listened, supported one on other, and stayed positive. At the end of the day, we were happy with the progress we made together. Yesterday, served as a model for other self-advocates in the meetings they have be it with peers or at annual reviews, ets… Yesterday, served as evidence, meetings can be productive, meaningful, cooperative, and winning. I hope your meetings can be victories.
