My IPP

I read my IPP from last September yesterday. I hadn’t reviewed it for some time, and already it feels dated. This surprised me because I feel my life is pretty routine and each day is much the same as the previous one. A lot of the basic facts are the same, but my vision has changed. Back then, all I could think about was retirement. Now I am thinking more about leaving a workplace legacy in the time I have in the time remaining before retirement. As I see it, the most significant difference I can make is through my writing on Self-Advocacy and Self-Determination. I bring the voice and insight of having been there. In fact, I have a hunger to get my story out because both have made such a difference in my life.
