Social Justice–Immigration

My maternal grandfather was from France, my father was from England, and my sisters from British Columbia. We are a family of immigrants. This nation has always been and will continue to be a nation of immigrants. While there are voices of to the contrary, immigrants bring young blood to this country, energy, creativity, work ethic and optimism. They broaden are heritage and our values. They help supply the employment needs of key industries, especially technology. They broaden are understanding of extended family, where unity is a strength People from diverse origins have different support needs and goals. For some income issue a huge issue, so is language. These issues are minor compared to the wealth they bring to this country.
