I try to be honest when I can. I will sometimes temper it when blunt honesty would hurt people’s feelings. As in all human affairs, discretion is always of utmost concern and consideration. For example, I believe that I suffer from my disabilities. My mind tells me this, as do my senses. I don’t believe for a second that my opinions are based on social conditioning. Pain is pain and when I hurt I suffer. I might not be popular in some circles. They would have you believe that suffering is part of an archaic paradigm. They can talk and go on all they want, but they won’t change my opinion any. Just as I believe in suffering, I believe in mercy, justice, forgiveness, dreams, and hope.
