Under traditional services, we didn’t own anything. We received services and hopefully they met are needs and were what we wanted. If we didn’t like them, so what if we didn’t reach our outcome. Self-determination is different because we pick out the services we want and it comes out of our budget or spending plan. To me that is a huge incentive to take advantage of the services I receive. I still personally fund most of my technology expenditures, but my plan will pay for royalty free images and computer books which is a big help. When you are coming up with your plan, think of what you are passionate about and see if your plan can fund that.
