Transition process can seem to take so long and be so involved. It may cause you to wonder if all the extra effort is worth it. I was frustrated by how long it took for my plan to be enrolled, especially since I was just rolling my services over from traditional services to Self-Determination. I had no logical reason to continue with it, but I am the type of person who once started it likes to carry through to its completion. RC eventually did enroll me in the plan. That was a a relief. The pay off didn’t come until the Pandemic struck and I changed my services to better meet my needs, and I have continuing to change my needs as my life and circumstances evolved. Its that flexibility and ability to tailor services to my needs is the real prize.
