We live in the times when it seems that everyone talks about us vs, them. Everything has become so partisan. Where is this getting us? I like to find common ground and bridging differences. This is very important in Self-Determination because people will disagree at times. That may be a result of differing roles, values, and responsibilities. In those circumstances strive not to take differences personally and work to bridge the gaps, common interests and values. It may be helpful to have a third, neutral party migrate the differences. The power of we means working together with a common mission and goals, supporting each other along the way. Work hard on keeping communication channels open because they are often the first to go when there are differences. ‘also show respect others even when they disagree with us. The power of we is unstoppable with diplomacy and civility we can make it happen.
