A Self-Advocate for all Seasons

Self-Advocacy is for the good times and the bad. I have COVID and am at home resting and quarantining. I had my booster shot, so my symptoms are mild, but my doctor is concerned about me because I have underlying conditions that put me at high risk for developing worse symptoms. It is my responsibility to communicate with my health care professions, family, friends, and work and keep them updated on the status of my condition. Besides, it makes me feel more connected with people. Quarantining is rough on the spirit. I want to be out and about with people.
