Adventure

People ask me why did I go into Self-Determination when I was satisfied with the traditional services I was receiving. In part, I made the move because of my huge commitment to the Program. More importantly it was the sense of adventure. I wanted to try something new and experimental. I was bored with the status quo and I wanted to test the waters, and see how adaptable and creative I could be. People like to say think outside the box. These words are easy to say. They flow out of the mouth, but to genuinely think creatively is hard work and tasks inspiration. I am notorious for underspending my budget and having to prompted even pushed to spend it. I confess there is a lot of truth to that. With the pandemic it was very hard to spend my planned budget. So I had to really had to examine my needs and goals and think of new ways to spend my budget without wasting the money. It was hard, but I did it. I hate the pandemic, and so want things to return to normal.
