California dreaming has a bright, sunny, and vital attitude to it. California has incredible natural beauty and an unmatched climate, with a laid back life-style. Let’s embody this spirit into our self-determination program, and let’s discover our inner selves and provide us supports and resources to realize our potential. Let’s free stigma and prejudice that we may live satisfying integrated lives in our communities. California, San Diego in particular, has made such strides in mass transit. Only California has the Lanterman Act entitling persons with developmental care with no waiting lists. I am proud to say I am a native Californian, and looking forward to a brighter future.
