People call me a dreamer. I live for what might be. I don’t want to settle for what is. This does not mean all my dreams come true. Many of my dreams never came true and my hopes were reduced to ashes, but I still dream. I have discovered it takes courage to dream, especially when you get my age. You need to dream when you get into Self-Determination and not be overwhelmed by very real and significant needs. It takes courage that there are services and supports that will mediate the needs and to come up with a plan that will achieve that. Never stop dreaming.
