Each voice of people with disabilities tells a unique story with different characters, plots, settings, styles, colors, and themes. We can’t be reduced to a single story because each life is so wholely its own. What rings true for one may well be meaningless to another, but this is what diversity is all about. People with various gifts and talents, education, families, and opportunities plus different values and preferences come together. Each story is so totally different. Each teller has different dreams, talents, support needs, circles of supports, and experiences. I am not the one to pass judgment on any storyteller but to simply listen to their story and acknowledge it.
