Know your strength

I admit knowing my strengths doesn’t come easy for me. It might just be me, but I find it a lot easier seeing what my weaknesses are and what I am not good at. It’s essential for my mental health, self-esteem, and everyday success in life, to see what I am good at. One way I do this is to take inventory of my abilities. Taking online strength assessments helps too. I also ask friends and co-workers for feedback. I ask myself basic questions, Am I reaching my dreams and goals? Am I being productive, what is the reputation others have for me? This takes patience and discipline and the ability to be value-neutral. No judging here. In time things come into focus. I see that I can write, I am well-read, learned, and I am so very proud of my blog. I have achieved something with it that I didn’t think was possible. When people see my blog, they tell me to keep on keeping on. This is what I will do.
