Let did I know it at the time, I started on a journey when I created this blog. I am learning so much and I am making so many choices. I decided what the content of my blog would be, selected the design of the blog, choose the design and development program and theme, and picked a long list of add-on plugins. I also acquired 3rd party software to support the development of the blog (e.g. Photoshop and Illustrator.) I am in the process of learning all this and it is very exciting, but all of what I have mentioned so far is on the techie side of things. A far bigger part of my journey is learning about advocacy, activism, disability rights, accessibility, and inclusion. There is so much to learn and to write about. I want to know about our disability rights heroes, their challenges, their struggles, and how they have overcome them. I want to write about our wants, needs, barriers, hopes, and dreams. I want to write about what it is like to live in the system and our desire to be set free.
