I thought my annual review went well, routine, nothing to write home about. A few weeks later I received my IPP document in the mail. It took me a couple days to get around to reading. All seemed to be in order, then I came to the outcome section. Lo and behold, my IPP will fund my software used to develop and support my blog. I don’t remember asking for it, but in my emails to my Self-Determination team I had made it clear how much this blog meant to me, and how much I want this to be a high quality site. I was really touched by this. It might seem like a little something to you, but it means a great deal to me. I feel it is a game changer. Not only will help me make a more attractive site, but it help me create more appealing documents for San Diego People First. It will also help me broaden my computer skills. All this shows that Self-Determination can change lives.
