I have learned a lot about service delivery, team work, and communication from being in Self-Determination, but most importantly I have learned a lot about myself. It affirmed how persistent I can be, and how I don’t take failure for the final answer. I have learned to apply these skills to other parts of my life.
I am extremely proud of some decisions I made when the pandemic started. To improve my home office, I upgraded my technology to make my home office more professional and productive. I also learned how well I listened to people through talking over the phone or Zoom. I spend most of my time writing, my passion and joy in life. For reasons I can’t explain, my writing has improved qualitatively and qualitatively.
I needed an outlet or venue for my writing. A co-worker suggested that I start a blog. While I have had blogs in the past that went nowhere, I decided to give this blog a try. With the help of phone technical support, the design and development was straight forward. Now I can focus on writing content for the blog and I am happy. I don’t think I would have done any of this without the lessons I have learned from Self-Determination.
